‘Leviathan’ artist in residency at the Kingston Arts Centre

I’m on a three-month Magnify artist-in-residence at the Kingston Arts Centre, late September - December 2026, to produce a new suite of maritime paintings centred around the sublimity of the sea. As part of my ongoing (and long-term) maritime investigation across moving image, drawing, painting, and miniatures, the developed works will centre on the Port Phillip Bay region, with special attention to Mordialloc Creek, pier, and beach, where my father moored our family boat during the 1980s and 1990s.

The outcome will be a significant body of work to be exhibited and screened in the near future.
